Traditional screen porches keep insects out while staying fully open to the breeze. EZE-Breeze vinyl windows go a step further, letting you close the space up in cooler months and still see clearly through it, or open it back up when the weather's nice.

The practical difference between the two comes down to how many months of the year you want to use the space. A traditional screen porch is essentially a three-season room in this climate, great from spring through fall but not built to hold heat once temperatures drop. EZE-Breeze windows extend that further, since the vinyl panels seal the space up enough to add a portable heater in winter or keep out wind-driven rain, while still rolling open completely on a nice day. It's a lighter investment than converting a porch into a fully insulated sunroom, but it gets you most of the extra usable time without the extra cost of HVAC and permanent glass.
